The Rural Transit Project
People who live in rural areas have traditionally been underserved by public transit, making it difficult for the disabled, or those who can't afford a car to get to work, the grocery store or to see friends and relatives. In 2003 I traveled to Washington State, New Mexico, and Florida to document the transit that people in those areas were fortunate enough to have access to. Years later, the lack of transportation is still a big problem in much of the United States. Client: Community Transportation Association of America
